Last Friday, our 3rd–5th graders had an unforgettable visit with NASA Astronaut Shane Kimbrough! Students were captivated as he shared stories from his missions to space, what life is like aboard the International Space Station, and the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and curiosity. From floating in zero gravity to conducting real scientific experiments, his experiences brought STEM to life in the most exciting way. Our students asked thoughtful questions, dreamed big, and were reminded that the sky is not the limit—space is just the beginning! Thank you, Astronaut Kimbrough, for inspiring the next generation of explorers, engineers, and innovators. 🌎🚀

We were thrilled to welcome the Galveston Bay Foundation to campus for a special in-house field trip with our K-2 students! Our early learners explored the wonders of Galveston Bay’s incredible ecosystems, discovering how plants, animals, and water all work together to support life.
